All code from www.MartinRinehart.com is commercial, for-profit code and must be licensed from the owner except as set forth in the following three points.

  1. Students learning java may use any of this code without charge. Students who include any of this code in source code that will be used by others must copy this license into the javadoc or other visible location in the source code.
  2. Teachers who wish to use any of this source code to teach java programming may do so without charge if this license is copied into the javadoc or other visible location in the source code.
  3. Persons who would like to use this code for evaluation purposes may do so without charge if they also email me explaining their interest.

A Note on Pricing and Licensing

When I set prices I realize that nothing here is so clever that reasonably competent programmers could not create it on their own. I try to charge about half what it would cost you to create equivalent code. In practice, most clients retain me to customize the software and to train their personnel, rather than just purchasing software.
